Project Flashback: Wedding Invitations

My Twin Sister got married January 2008. I was honored when she asked me to make her wedding invitations for her. She had a few ideas and color choices. While looking thru samples of what she liked, we decided to try to combine the horizontal invites she liked, with the self contained envelop style invites she really wanted.

These two photos are slightly deceiving. I had to fold them open to photograph the whole invitation. The pocket held the RSVP pre-stamped postcard, the reception card and maps/ directions. The cost per invite was $1.49 (materials only).

As the wedding drew closer she really wanted to echo a lot of the decorations for the reception with dot/ circle Programs. We made a green and pink version to alternate at each seat. They pivot opened at the silver grommet to see the wedding program and the list all the brides maids & groomsmen, which were inside. The cost of the Program was about 35 cents (materials only).

(I'd like to keep their identities semi private, so please excuse the last names being blurred out)

What a wonderful invite! Could not have asked for more!

All we had planned was the color scheme for our wedding. It was nice as we prepared to tell you the color scheme and you came up with a few options on design for us. You were so easy to work with as you offered those designs and we could pick the one we liked the best and you were flexible to work with us to truely personalize these.

Then we asked for help with the program for our ceremony and you helped take my idea and turn it into a reality.

Thank you so much for your wonderful work. I recommend you each time I hear someone needing an invite of any kind. Hope your business grows leaps and bounds!
